Description
This Rx-7 is the best one in the state for sure! Vehicle took 2nd place in a classic import show April 17th 2010. This rare car is fast! Keep in mind this car has no power steering. Great for feeling the car around corners, not so good if you don’t like a stiff steering wheel.

Now about the car:
TITLE IN HAND!
5 speed manual transmission.
Turbo Rotary motor. NOTE: Rotary motors mix oil with the fuel like a two cycle engine in order to lubricate the rotors. YOU MUST PUT ONE QUART OF OIL IN IT EVERY 1,000 MILES! CHECK OIL REGULARLY PLEASE!

NEW A.C.T Stage II Heavy Duty Clutch. Installed 2 months ago. Car will bark the tires in 3rd gear!
NEW performance spark plug wires.
NEW windshield
NEW brake pads. Car has 4 piston front calipers.
Steel braided brake lines.
Transmission syncro was realigned.
NEW shift spring installed.
Rear differential gears were checked and oiled.
NEW race oil installed in tranny and differential.
Recent 4 wheel alignment performed.
Borla Exhaust with 3″ downpipe.
Car has the fuel cut override box installed. This allows the car to boost to 13 PSI and creep to 16 PSI when it is cold outside.
HKS Super Sequential Blow off valve.
Blacked out tail lights. You will receive the ORIGINAL tail lights with purchase if you want to switch back.
Apex-i Neo SFAC fuel controller.
FAZE brand illuminated gauges: Boost Pressure, Water Temp, and Air/Fuel Ratio.

Two 10″ JL Audio subs matched with a JL Audio mono block amp. STEREO IS LOUD. It hit 131 DB at the car show.
Aftermarket fiberglass race fenders.
NEW radio power antenna installed.
NEW Exide Orbital gel battery installed last yr. 900+ cold cranking amps. Has a 5 yr. replacement warranty. Just take it to the certified dealer and they give you a new one.
Sunroof works.
Cruise control works.
Power windows work.
Now what the car needs:
The bushings are old and starting to dry rot. I have the FULL bushing kit and did the three that were fully worn. You can do the rest yourself; it is easy, just time consuming. You WILL receive the bushing kit when you buy the car.
Needs new tires, lots of road noise from rear. Possible wheel bearing going bad. Not a hard fix and the bearings are cheap.
Engine bay needs cleaned. A radiator blew up from previous owner since he tried to use that liquid patch stuff. Now unfortunately it is all over the engine bay.
Needs a new exhaust manifold gasket ($80.00). Not hard to put in, I can show you as I have done it before, just time consuming (a full day with two people). That is the putter you hear from engine bay.
Ash tray missing ($110.00). I have the Apex-i fuel controller there for now. You can mount it elsewhere if you want since i did not drill or anything to mount it.
There is a little “CLICK” sometimes when you press the brakes. I replaced a worn bushing on the top link and tightened the caliper best I could, still clicks. My guess is the front left suspension spring is clicking against the cradle. The next thing to try is replace the gaskets top and bottom of the strut tower but I could be wrong. It does not affect the car’s performance, just annoying. Once the full bushing kit is installed it will probably go away.
Scratch on both sides of car, paint chips, etc. It is an ’87 after all. I have a friend that will paint it professionally for $200.00 if you buy the paint. Total investment, $500.00 with 3 layers of clear coat.
Maybe a good carpet cleaning?
